How MARE Can Help You

Welcome to the section of the MARE website designed to meet the needs of social workers who are working with waiting children and/or waiting families. We at MARE value the collaborative relationships we have with social workers from the Department of Children and Families and adoption agencies in Massachusetts and beyond.

MARE has four Child Services Coordinators (CSC) who are assigned to specific geographic regions.  Each CSC is responsible for all recruitment services for the children in their regions.  Therefore this system allows each social worker to contact and work with one MARE staff person for all the recruitment needs of their children. 

The four Child Services Coordinators are:

                - Maurine Albano – Western Region
                - Nichole Lawton – Southeast Region and 2 Worcester Area Offices
                - Christine Mitchell – Northeast Region and Leominster Area Office
                - Nikia Bodden – Boston and Metro Regions

In addition to the Child Services Coordinators, Ruth Bodian, the Family Support Services Director is responsible for the registration of all families.
