Directions to MARE
These directions

From North of Boston: Take Route 93 South. Take Exit
23 – S.Station/Purchase Street. Merge onto Purchase
Street. After several lights, take a right onto Summer Street
at the light. Proceed straight through one traffic light.
At the second light, take a right onto Devonshire Street.
Proceed to the next light and turn left onto Franklin Street.
MARE is at 45 Franklin Street, about 400 feet down the road,
on the left-hand side, across from D’Angelos.
From
South of Boston: Take Route 93 North. Take Exit 20 – Logan Airport/Worcester/South
Station. Bear left as you exit, following the sign for “South Station via
Frontage Street.” Proceed straight through several lights, following signs
for South Station/Downtown. After
several traffic lights, there will be signs for Chinatown. Make a left at
the light onto Kneeland Street, following the signs for Chinatown. At the third light after the
turn, take a right onto Lincoln Street. At the light, proceed straight
across the intersection, continuing on Lincoln. At the next light,
proceed straight across the intersection. Immediately take a right onto
Devonshire Street. Proceed to the next traffic light and take a left onto
Franklin Street. MARE is at 45 Franklin Street, about 400 feet down the
road, on the left-hand side, across from D’Angelos.
From
West of Boston: Take the Mass. Pike (Route 90) East to Boston. Take Exit 24A,
following signs for South Station Exit Only. On the exit ramp, get into
the left lane. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, take a
left onto Kneeland Street. At the third light after the turn, take a
right onto Lincoln Street. At the light, proceed straight across the
intersection, continuing on Lincoln. At the next light, proceed straight
across the intersection. Immediately take a right onto Devonshire Street.
Proceed to the next traffic light and take a left onto Franklin Street.
MARE is at 45 Franklin Street, about 400 feet down the road, on the
left-hand side, across from D’Angelos.
Via
MBTA:
Take the Red or Orange Line to Downtown Crossing.
Parking:
- on-street metered spaces
as available.
- garage on Devonshire on
the right-hand side before intersection with Franklin – this lot is
inexpensive and usually full, often you have to wait to get in; if
you are coming to MARE in the late afternoon, there is usually no
wait.
- Hawley Street garage (underground).
From the MARE office on Franklin Street, take a left at the Buck a
Book onto Hawley Street. The garage entrance is on the left.
