Ryan is a hard working and sensitive fifteen year old boy who simply wants to be adopted. Born of Jamaican and Caucasian heritage, he is eager to please adults and is well liked by those in his life. He loves spending time outdoors and particularly enjoys being around horses. Ryan also likes to ride bikes, dance and listen to music, especially movie soundtracks. He looks forward to watching movies with the other boys at his residential home, and he’ll tell you that Transformers is one of his favorites right now. When thinking about his future, Ryan thinks going into the Coast Guard would be a fun thing. He participates in therapy to help address emotional issues related to past loss and trauma. It is important for Ryan to have a family who will support him as he continues to make strides in understanding and expressing his emotions. Legally free for adoption, a family should be willing to help Ryan remain in contact with his sibling. With a family that has pets, is active and provides structure, Ryan will blossom into a wonderful young man and reach his fullest potential.
