HI!
My name is Casey.
“I like making other people laugh.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I’m good at working with my hands.
And
here’s what others say…
Casey is a bright and fun fourteen year old Caucasian boy.
He is witty, quirky and caring of other people’s feelings. In addition
to spending one-to-one time with the adults in his life, Casey enjoys
participating in paint ball, using his Play Station, and watching movies.
He likes to spend time building things and making baked goods. Casey sometimes
has a difficult time interacting with peers, but has made great strides
in developing his social skills. He continues to work on expressing his
feelings and accepting situations that do not go his way. Casey currently
lives in a residential home where he makes good use of the supports available
to him. Staff say that he has made tremendous improvements in his behavior
and shows the ability to positively express his feelings. Casey attends
school at his program where he benefits from special education services.
When thinking about a family, Casey hopes to find a family who will give
him the time he needs to build a strong and trusting relationship. He
is a youngster who has suffered many losses in his life and will do best
with an understanding single dad or two-parent family, with or without
other children. An ideal family will be open to working with outside professionals
to ensure that Casey receives the supports he needs. Legally free for
adoption, Casey is a teen with a big heart and lots of laughter to share
with the right family. It is important to Casey that he continue to visit
with his sister on a frequent basis.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would find a family who will stick by me no
matter what.
