HI!
My name is Mikey.
“I love cars.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I like to ask questions and figure out how things work.
And
here’s what others say…
Mikey is a sweet, adorable
youngster who is seeking the love and stability of a permanent family.
He is typically a happy child who is affectionate with those who are close
to him. With the right supports and nurturance, Mikey would thrive in
a family of his own. He is an inquisitive ten year old boy of Latino descent
who benefits from a lot of adult one-on-one attention. Mikey is quite
the conversationalist, and he loves to ask questions. He also loves playing
with little toy cars and he can tell you a lot about different makes and
models. Mikey gets along well with everyone in his foster home. His foster
mother says he is helpful, curious and a very picky eater. Mikey prefers
simply eating cereal, and bread and butter. Not one for sports, Mikey
enjoys going to the park, riding his scooter or playing indoors. He has
worked hard to build his social skills and gets along really well with
older boys. Mickey attends a specialized school where he receives the
academic and emotional supports he needs. He is a big fan of books and
enjoys reading and having someone read to him. Due to his past, he continues
to use therapeutic supports to confront his challenges and build stronger
coping skills. Mikey is legally free for adoption and ready to have a
patient, loving and supportive family who will help him to continue to
make strides and reach his fullest potential. He has a close relationship
with his brothers and needs a two-parent family, with no younger children,
who will help him to remain connected to them.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who is patient and understanding.
