HI! My name is David.
“I’m very good at reading."
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I like to work with my hands.
And
here’s what others say…
David is a charming,
handsome boy of Caucasian and Latino descent who is hoping to soon join
a permanent family. Initially quiet, David becomes more talkative once
he gets to know someone new. David has a lot to give and could realize
his full potential with the guidance, structure and predictability he
would find in a family setting. Fourteen years old, he is in the eighth
grade where he receives extra encouragement in completing his school assignments
and benefits from individual adult attention to help him stay focused.
David is bright and inquisitive, and the questions he asks in class reflect
his insightfulness. He currently lives in a foster home where he willingly
helps out around the house and easily entertains himself well in his free
time. David enjoys playing basketball, riding his bicycle, and during
quieter times, using the computer and watching television. He loves and
excels in reading. David is creative and good with hands-on tasks. In
the future, he may like to go to vocational school to learn a trade. Legally
free for adoption, David would do best in a home with a mom and dad and
children outside his age group if there are other children in the home.
He will need a gradual transition into a new home so he can adjust at
his own pace. David continues to work through the losses in his life and
makes good use of the supports available to him. Having the commitment
and unconditional love will certainly help him to continue making gains.
David has connections to siblings and needs to know that a family will
help him to maintain these relationships.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who never gives up on me.
