HI! My name is Cassandra.
“My friends call me Cassie.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I enjoy writing letters and making cards for friends.
And
here’s what others say…
Cassie is a sweet,
personable girl who enjoys spending time with others. She’s open
to trying new activities and thrives on individual attention from adults.
Currently, Cassie lives in a residential home, but is ready to find a
family of her own. Of Caucasian descent, fourteen year old Cassie describes
herself as fun, energetic and creative. Thoughtful and affectionate, she
likes to give hugs to the people close to her. Cassie is an animal lover
who has fun drawing and playing board games, and participating in sports.
A typical young teen, she loves getting her hair and nails done. Academically,
Cassie does well in math and is working hard in her other subjects. She
has a good memory and tends to remember people she has met before. She
is an avid reader and enjoys reading to others. Her cognitive and speech
delays have improved with speech therapy, and she continues to work on
understanding her past with the help of available supports. Legally free
for adoption, Cassie is excited about being adopted and says she wants
a nice and fun family. She would especially love to have a mom and an
older sister. Her social worker is seeking either a single or two-parent
family that preferably has parenting experience. It is important to Cassie
that she remains in contact with members of her birth family.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who is kind and spends
time with me.
