HI!
My name is Dylan.
“I like trading cards.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I also love to ride my bike.
And
here’s what others say…
Born of Caucasian and
Latino heritage, Dylan is a ten year old boy who is outgoing once he is
comfortable with those around him. He enjoys playing sports such as baseball
and ice hockey, but prefers to play for fun rather than for competition.
Dylan also likes playing video games, playing board games, watching movies
and going on day trips. Currently living in a residential home, he thrives
with a very structured and consistent home life. Dylan does well at school
in his small structured classroom. At school and home, Dylan gets along
well with the staff and has begun to make friends. His social worker describes
him as an insightful child who goes with the flow rather than leading.
Dylan has experienced significant losses in his past, for which he continues
to make use of the therapeutic supports available to him. He will benefit
from a family who will ensure he continues to receive these supports in
the future. Dylan hopes to one day soon have a family that he can rely
on and who will give him the stability he needs. An ideal family for Dylan
would be open to being a visiting resource while he takes the time he
needs to build a trusting relationship and to slowly transition into his
new family. He also needs to know that he will be able to maintain contact
with his brother and sister and a couple of visits with his birth parent.
Dylan is legally free for adoption.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would live in a mansion!
