HI!
My name is D'Mani.
“I’ve got a great sense of humor.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I dream of going to college one day."
And
here’s what others say…
D’Mani is a handsome
eleven year old with a bright smile and polite personality. He is healthy,
energetic and has a wide variety of interests. This fun-loving African-American
boy eagerly awaits the day when he can find a family of his own. D’Mani
lives in a foster home where he loves to play basketball, watch television,
and go outdoors. He also likes art and enjoys drawing. D’Mani is
happy to be part of organized activities and has participated in a horseback
riding program and a school program with the Boston Ballet. D’Mani
is great with animals and would love to be in a home with a family pet.
In his foster home, he has developed strong, positive relationships with
his foster family. His foster mother says that he looks to her for guidance
and support. A motivated student, D’Mani works hard and does well
in his highly structure classroom. He is an active and engaging child
who enjoys playing with his numerous close friends. D’Mani also
values the strong bonds he has with his maternal grandparents and brothers.
A family must be committed to helping D’Mani maintain these relationships.
D’Mani is a child who has endured many moves, and losses in his
young life. But in spite of it all, he remains optimistic and open to
finding a family who will provide him with a permanent place to call home.
D’Mani needs a family, with or without other children, who will
set clear expectations, be extremely patient and have lots of understanding.
With a strong, loving and nurturing single or two-parent family who can
be very firm, D’Mani will continue to make strides in overcoming
the emotional and behavioral challenges related to his past. D’Mani
is legally free for adoption and ready for the unconditional love of a
permanent family.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would be able to continue to be in contact
with my birth family.
