HI! My name is Marianne.
“I love to laugh."

Let me tell you more about myself…
I’m a creative person.

And here’s what others say…
Energetic and social, Marianne is a Caucasian nine year old who loves to be silly and have a good time. She can often be found dancing, playing dress-up or just having a laugh with those around her. Marianne loves almost anything that will let her be creative. She thrives with a lot of attention from the adults in her life. At school, Marianne continues to work hard to catch up in math and reading and receives supports from an individualized education plan that addresses her academic and behavior needs. Marianne is a child who has endured a great deal of trauma and loss in her early years. She is in need of a family who will provide her with understanding and advocate on her behalf so that she continues to receive the professional supports that she needs. Marianne does well in her residential home when she is given lots of attention and consistency. She enjoys being helpful and lending a hand around the house. Legally free for adoption, Marianne would do well with two parents, especially two moms, who will provide her with the love, understanding and supports she needs. Marianne should be the youngest or only child at home and would like to have a sister that is a bit older. Marianne would benefit from a family who is familiar with attachment and traum issues and is able to accomodate weekly visits during a long transition period.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family who will always be there for me.
