Considerate, intelligent and friendly, Jose is a easy-going twelve year old boy of Latino heritage with many interests. He enjoys playing basketball, going to the movies and taking care of his foster family’s dog. Building with Legos and collecting Yo-Gi-Oh cards are also favorites of his. At home, Jose gets along well with his foster family and easily gives affection to those who he is close to. With his sweet and caring nature, he enjoys being around elderly people and showing politeness by opening doors for others. Jose looks forward to school where he excels academically. He gets along well with other children, but often prefers playing alone rather than group activities. Due to a traumatic past, Jose continues to participate in therapy to help him address his behavioral and emotional needs. He would benefit from an understanding family who will support him as he continues to confront his challenges. Jose is legally free for adoption and hopes to find a single mom or two-parent family, with or without other children, who will provide him with love and commitment.
