HI!
My name is Brian.
“I love watching the Red Sox.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I’m really good at the card game UNO!
And
here’s what others say…
With his zest for life
and great sense of humor, Brian is a pleasure to be around. Always smiling,
he gives good eye contact when he’s talking to you. He is a resilient,
spirited youngster of Caucasian descent who maintains a positive outlook
despite his significant medical and physical challenges. A sports fan,
twelve year old Brian enjoys watching baseball, basketball and soccer
on television and is especially fond of the Red Sox. In addition to sports,
Brian enjoys playing card and video games. He also loves listening to
contemporary pop music. Shania Twain, the Backstreet Boys and Britney
Spears are some of his favorite singers. Brian is seeking an adoptive
home where he would have the chance to experience more of what his peers
have, namely the love of a family. Currently, he lives in a residential
hospital where he also receives his schooling. He has no cognitive delays,
though he does require various therapies for his medical conditions. Because
his mobility is severely limited, he uses a modified wheelchair to get
around. Brian has missed much school due to his hospital stays and is
working hard to catch up academically. Currently, he is progressing at
a third grade level. Brian enjoys school and has already expressed a desire
to attend high school and college. Because of the nature of his living
situation, he interacts mostly with adults. Brian looks forward to having
a mom, dad, and possibly older siblings. He also would like to maintain
contact with his biological siblings, and there is an open adoption agreement
with his birth mother. Brian will benefit from being in a nurturing and
committed family who will ensure that he receives the proper medical attention.
Legally free for adoption, Brian is a cheerful youngster just waiting
to blossom in a family of his own.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would be part of a family. It would be great
to have siblings, too!
