HI! My name is David.
“I’m good at working with my hands.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I really like animals!
And
here’s what others say…
Eleven years old, David
is an active, curious and happy Caucasian child. He loves to be outside
whether he’s playing or helping out with some gardening. David is
naturally talented at working with his hands and is proud of his ability
to build things. Recently, he built a bird feeder and then tried to catch
a bird while it ate from the feeder. He succeeded after an hour of trying.
His foster mother says that he’ll eat just about anything and has
expressed an interest in being a cook someday. David also says he would
like to be a carpenter. Strong willed, David has a young personality and
benefits from significant emotional support from the adults in his life.
Excited to go to school, David jumps out of bed in the morning, makes
his bed, and gets himself ready without any prompting. He works hard at
school and benefits from a rigorous individual education plan that provides
him with one-to-one support. David’s favorite subjects are Math
and Reading, which he enjoys practicing in his free time. Legally free
for adoption, David is in need of a loving, supportive and patient two-parent
family in which he can be the youngest or only child. It is important
to him that he be able to maintain his connection to his siblings.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would
have a family who would spend time with me and be very understanding.
