AJ is a nine year old Caucasian child who is quick witted, engaging and loving. He, like many boys his age, loves to keep busy playing and being around his friends. AJ can often be found riding his bike, playing outdoors, swimming or watching a baseball game on television. He also enjoys spending quiet moments reading. AJ is helpful and kind towards others. In the future, he says he may want to put his personality and talents to use as a school bus driver. AJ loves being with his friends at school and is progressing in the classroom with the help of an individualized education plan. With support, he continues to work through the emotional and behavioral challenges that result from his past. AJ would certainly do well with the stability, love and understanding of a permanent family. Legally free for adoption, he is ready to be part of a single mother or two-parent family in which he can be the youngest or only child.
