HI! My name is Tyree.

“I really like baseball. Cereal is my favorite food!"

HI! My name is Jermaine.
“I like action movies. I am good at sports and art."

And here’s what others say…
Twelve year old Tyree is a kind and caring African American child who is waiting for the day that he and his brother, Jermaine, can be together in a permanent home. A natural leader, Tyree is great with younger children and has many friends at school and home. Tyree loves playing sports, watching movies and going to the park. He is quite talented at baseball and was chosen to play on the traveling team for his league last year. Tyree wants to one day play professional football and open his own cereal only restaurant, as cereal is his absolute favorite food. He is well behaved at school and does well with the help of an individualized education plan, though he often rushes through his school work so that he can go outside to play. Tyree lives in a residential home where he interacts well with both staff and peers. He has worked hard to learn to express his feelings and is able to make decisions about taking time to be alone when he needs it. Tyree is a patient and thoughtful youngster who values fairness. He hopes to find a single or two-parent family who will also be patient, fair and understanding as he learns to be part of a family. Most of all, Tyree hopes to be together with his brother. Legally free for adoption, Tyree and Jermaine would do well with or without other children in the home.

Jermaine is a friendly, caring and active child who looks forward to being in a permanent home with his brother Tyree. Athletic and artistic, he enjoys being involved in a variety of activities. Born of African American descent, thirteen year old Jermaine loves to play baseball, draw, paint and tell jokes. He also likes to practice his penmanship, do homework and read. When he grows up, Jermaine would like to design cars. He gets along well with his peers and staff at his residential program where he shows a flare for being a leader to the other children. Jermaine likes helping out with chores and enjoys receiving the attention of staff. In school, he likes reading and has been able to use his creativity as a strength in many classroom activities. Jermaine continues to build a stronger self-esteem with the help of those around him and would certainly benefit from a family who will provide him with encouragement, consistent support and positive feedback. Legally free for adoption, Jermaine and his brother would do well with a loving single or two parent family who will be patient and understanding as they transition into the family. Jermaine and Tyree are anxiously look forward to the day that they can be together in a permanent family where they can know that they are loved and will stay together.

If we could have our own special wish…
Our new family will love us forever.
