HI!
My name is Joey.
“I love to play tennis!”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I’m a kind person.
And
here’s what others say…
Joey, is an easy-going Cape Verdean boy whose social nature and
pleasant disposition help him to get along with just about anyone. He
is eager to please others and very much wants to be part of a permanent
family. Like many eleven year old boys, Joey likes cars and sports. He
enjoys being outdoors, playing with the children who live on his street,
and riding his bicycle. A die hard Patriots fan, Joey knows all of the
players’ names and watches the games on television. Joey currently
lives on a farm with his foster family where he loves riding horses. He
has good relationships with everyone in his foster home and likes being
part of his extended foster family. Everyone who knows Joey finds him
to be a pleasure to be around. At school, Joey attends a regular classroom
where he receives special educational services. He has worked hard to
make great gains in addressing his significant speech and language delays.
Joey would do well with a family who can advocate and help to ensure that
he continues to receive the supports he needs at school. Legally free
for adoption, Joey hopes to soon have a family of his own. He would do
well with a single or two-parent family, with or without children, who
will set realistic expectations and provide him the love he craves. An
ideal family for Joey will help him remain in contact with his older brother
and sister.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I
would have a family that would like to spend time doing things together.
