Twelve year old Ashley is a friendly Caucasian adolescent who giggles and laughs easily. She has a naturally easygoing personality and often acts mature for her age. During her free time, Ashley enjoys riding her bike, playing with dolls, watching television and swimming. She also likes to spend time doing puzzles. Having experienced many losses and instability in her young life, Ashley is ready to find a loving and committed single mom or two-parent family who will provide her with nurturance, consistency and predictability. Ashley continues to work on behavioral and emotional issues that stem from her past and would thrive with an understanding family. At school, Ashley enjoys being with her peers and has just become a little “boy crazy” according to her social worker. She benefits from an individualized education plan and does best when she receives help with her homework and guidance to stay focused in the classroom. An ideal family will be able maintain open and on-going communication with her teachers and take the time to help her with her assignments. Ashley is a kind and active child who is ready to be part of a permanent family, with or without other children. She hopes to find a family who will understand and support her on-going relationship with her two sisters. Ashley is legally free for adoption.
