HI!
My name is Travon.
“I want to be a gym teacher.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I’m soft-spoken.
And
here’s what others say…
Engaging, charismatic
and athletic, Travon is a ten year old who was born of African American
and Latino heritage. He is naturally athletic and loves to play all types
of sports. Travon also likes being outdoors, watching movies and dancing.
Though slow to warm up to new people, Travon is talkative and enjoys being
around his friends. He has worked hard and made great improvements at
school where he has increased his reading skills and made gains in behavior.
An ideal family will support Travon as he continues to catch up to grade
level. In his current foster home, he gets along well and is working on
better accepting limits when they are set for him. Travon responds best
when those around him calmly help him to express his emotions and manage
his behaviors. He is an energetic and interesting adolescent who is full
of potential. Legally free for adoption, Travon needs a family to share
in his successes and encourage him to strive ahead. He hopes to find a
loving family who will spend time with him doing the activities and sports
that he loves. Travon would do best in a peaceful and loving two-parent
family in which he is the youngest or only child. It is important to Travon
that he be supported in maintaining occasional visits with his three siblings.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who won’t give up
on me and always be there.
