HI! My name is Tiana.
“I’m a friendly person.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I like animals and hope to have a pet someday.

And here’s what others say…
Tiana is an outgoing, talkative young girl who is seeking a family of her own. Her ideal family would include a mom and dad, as well as older siblings. Tiana loves animals and having pets would complete her picture of a forever family. Currently, eleven year old Tiana lives in a foster home and has a good relationship with her foster family. She likes being helpful around the house and especially enjoys trying to cook new dishes. Tiana attends an afterschool program where her favorite activities include working with clay and doing other art projects. She also likes swimming, playing video games and learning to play the board game Mancala. Always on the go, Tiana is a social young girl who gets along well with her peers. Her foster mother describes Tiana as “loving” and “caring.” At school, she always gives her full effort and benefits from an individualized education plan. When she grows up, Tiana says she might want to become a hair stylist or a teacher. Tiana is a resilient girl of Latino and AfricanAmerican heritage who has endured a number of losses in her young life. She has made great strides behaviorally and socially and will need continued support from a family. Legally free for adoption, Tiana is ready to have the stability of a patient and nurturing family. Although she does well with both younger and older children, she is hoping her new neighborhood will have children close to her age for her to have more playmates. She would also do well in a diverse community as she is connected to her Latino heritage. Tiana will thrive in an adoptive home with parents who will be actively involved and help her with her schoolwork.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a mom and dad, and live in a neighborhood where I can ride my bike with friends.
