HI! My name is Luis.
“I want to be a professional skateboarder.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I’m smart, and I like to make people laugh.

And here’s what others say…
Ten years old, Luis is an active Latino boy who loves to do a variety of activities. His favorite two sports are bowling and rollerblading, though he does not yet have a pair of rollerblades of his own. Luis is an excellent reader and quite good at building all kinds of paper airplanes. Like most children his age, he also loves video games. When asked about what he would like to be when he grows up, Luis says that he would like to be a professional skateboarder, scientist, or an airplane builder. He is a fantastic student at school where he gets all A’s and B’s. Luis attends public school where he benefits from an individualized education plan and a small classroom setting that provide him the emotional and social supports he needs. He is a little boy who is very sensitive and continues to confront many emotional struggles. Luis does best at home and in social situations when he has consistent guidance and structure from adults. He gets along well with his foster family where he generally follows the rules and accepts redirection. With the help of therapy, Luis continues to make strides in learning to express his feelings and building peer relationships. An ideal family will have parenting experience and be able to provide Luis with the very structured and loving home life in which he will continue to thrive. He would like a two-parent or single father family, with children his age or older. Luis is legally free for adoption.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would own a pair of rollerblades and have siblings in my new family.
