HI!
My name is Amanda.
I like the arts and sports.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I like going to church.
And
here’s what others say…
Amanda is friendly,
sociable Caucasian girl who gets along well with others and has many friends
in school. At thirteen years old, she has a flair for drama and is interested
in acting, singing and dancing. Amanda enjoys listening to all types of
music from jazz to hip hop. She also likes physical activities such as
hiking, rock climbing, swimming and playing most sports. Amanda is in
a regular classroom at school where she is capable of making good grades.
She may like to be a hairstylist when she gets older, as well as going
to college. Generally cooperative, Amanda accepts the rules at school
and in her foster home. She has good relationships with her teachers,
peers, and with younger children. Though Amanda has suffered many losses
in her life, she tries to remain optimistic. She receives support services
to help her cope with her past and learn to seek out attention in positive
ways. The professionals who work with Amanda feel she could overcome any
challenge and assimilate well into a family once she knows she can rely
on that stability. Legally free for adoption, Amanda wants to be a part
of a family who will spend time with her and love her unconditionally.
Amanda would do best in a single or two-parent household as either the
only child or with children who are much younger or older than she.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would remain in contact with my grandmother
and other relatives.
