HI! My name is Emmanuel.
“Everyone calls me BJ.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I love to keep busy playing.

And here’s what others say…
BJ is an energetic and lovable four year old African American boy who is ready to be together with his sister and brother in a permanent home. Kind and friendly, he easily wins over the hearts of those around him with his big brown eyes and great smile. BJ loves to be outside and to spend one-to-one time with the adults in his life. He likes to learn and does best when adults are patient and allow him to take his time to make sure all that he does is “just right.” In his foster home, BJ gets along well with his foster family. He can be a bit strong willed when he wants things to go his way, but is able to accept the limits he is given and follow house rules. BJ continues to work on understanding the losses in his past and would benefit from a permanent family who could help him in this process. BJ, along with his siblings, is not yet legally free for adoption, but nonetheless is ready for the stability of a two-parent family (mom and dad) or a single mom, with or without other children. It is important to BJ and his siblings that a family be open to possible birth family contact.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would be together with my sister and brother.
