Angelique is an interesting and active child. Born of Caucasian descent, she is a ten year old who likes soccer, swimming, art and music. Angelique also likes spending time watching her favorite shows on Nickelodeon and Disney such as Ned’s Class, The Drake and Josh TV show, and the Naked Brother’s Band. She will tell you that her favorite types of music are rap and country. Angelique’s teacher describes her as “bright, energetic, creative, and one who takes pride in her work.” At school she continues to build her self confidence and work on her peer relationships. Angelique thrives in environments that are predictable and consistent. At home, she responds well to adults who provide her with positive expectations, calm requests, and choices and reminders before consequences are earned. Angelique is a child who has experienced many losses throughout her young life. A family for her will understand and be able to meet her significant emotional needs. Angelique would do well with a single mother or two-parent family with no other children or only one significantly older child so that she can have all the attention she craves and needs. An ideal family will have reasonable expectations and give Angelique the time she needs to build a trust in her new family. Angelique is legally free for adoption.
