HI! We are Denzel & Tahmeika.
“We like to spend time together.”

Let us tell you more…
We both do well in school.

And here’s what others say…
Tahmeika and Denzel are African American siblings that share a close relationship. When around others they trust, both become talkative and outgoing. Denzel is a wonderful older brother to Tahmeika, who appreciates their loyal and supportive relationship. These siblings hope to find a permanent family where their close relationship can continue to grow. Both Denzel and Tahmeika would do well with a family that sets clear, consistent expectations, and provides positive encouragement.

Tahmeika, fourteen, is a well-spoken, bright girl. She becomes talkative when she trusts and has a relationship with someone. Tahmeika loves animals. She would eventually like to pursue a career that aligns with this interest. Tahmeika also enjoys roller-skating, spending time with her brother and listening to music. At school, Tahmeika does well academically and behaviorally. She is enrolled in regular education classes, and excels through supportive relationships with her teachers. At home with her foster family, Tahmeika thrives with clear expectations and encouragement.

Denzel, just one year older than his sister, is talkative and friendly once you get to know him. He prides himself in the good grades he earns at his therapeutic day school. Denzel’s school provides him with the supervision and support that he needs. He hopes to one day transition into a public high school or tech school. In his free time, Denzel enjoys movies, video games, spending time with his sister and walking around the mall. Denzel would do best with a family that can continue to give him the emotional support that he needs, while providing direction, clear expectations, and prompting to follow a daily routine.

Legally free for adoption, Tahmeika and Denzel wish to be with a strong two-parent or single-parent family with or without siblings. They would prefer to be with a family that shares their heritage, but are open to other options. Tahmeika and Denzel would do extremely well in a family that can provide them with the structure, support, and supervision that they need to lead healthy and happy lives.

If we could have our own special wish…
We would love to have a pet dog!
