Joshua, three years old, is a very energetic and affectionate little boy. Born of Latino descent, he speaks both English and Spanish. Joshua loves to receive one-to- one attention from adults and is happiest when he keeps busy. He enjoys playing and keeping up with older children. In fact, he can be a bit of a dare devil who needs reminders about being safe when climbing, jumping or doing other physical feats. Thought not yet school age, Joshua wishes he could go off to school like the “bigger kids”. He currently receives services to address significant delays language. Though he does not yet use words, Joshua is able to communicate to those who know him. Legally free for adoption, Joshua would do best in a two-parent home where he is able to receive lots of attention and affection. An ideal family will be able to work with professionals to ensure that he continues to receive the support and medical services he needs to address his medical and developmental issues. Joshua is a happy, loving and active little guy who is sure to bring great joy to a family who can provide him with the care and nurturance he deserves.
