HI! My name is Sarah.

“I like to rollerblade.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
Someday I’d like to go to college.

And here’s what others say…
Sarah is active, friendly and sweet. Almost eleven years old, she is a Caucasian child who is ready for the love and stability of a permanent family. Sarah likes to keep busy in her free time. She can be found reading, watching the Disney station on television, drawing and playing with friends. Sarah also enjoys physical activity which is not only fun, but keeps her feeling good emotionally. Her two favorite activities are riding a bike and rollerblading. Sarah does very well at school and works hard in her classes. She benefits from a specialized education plan that addresses her emotional needs. Sarah hopes to one day attend college and perhaps to work with children. Currently, she lives in a residential home where she receives the structure and support to strengthen her skills for coping with the many losses in her young life. Sarah thrives with a great deal of attention and time from adults and would benefit from being the youngest child in a family who will provide her opportunities to continue to build her self-esteem. Legally free for adoption, Sarah needs a strong single mother or two-parent family with previous parenting experience who can provide her with the support, consistency and understanding she needs. It is important to Sarah that she be able to maintain contact with her siblings.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would like to "rewind" my life so that all of the bad things that have happened to me would be gone.

You can help bring me closer to finding "a place to call HOME" by filling out the MARE Information Request Form. They will be glad to help you get more information about me.
