Zachary is a charismatic fourteen year old who is hopeful about finding a permanent family. Born of Caucasian descent, he has a great sense of humor and is insightful beyond his years. Zachary loves to read, play video games, draw and build with Legos. He also enjoys bowling, miniature golf and baseball. Currently, Zachary lives in a residential home where he does well with the supports and structure provided to him. But what he longs for is a home and family who will be loving, understanding and affectionate. One of his favorite times of the day is when he receives a hug at bedtime. Zachary would do well in a family who is active and enjoys the outdoors. He hopes to have someone with whom he can go hiking and play catch. An ideal family will be able to balance the attention he craves with the structure he needs. Zachary would do best meeting a family and slowly working towards a transition. He would thrive with patience and commitment. Zachary is hopeful about finding a family and is open to all types of families. He would do well as the only child or oldest child in the home.
