Alexander
(Reg. # 2912)
Photographed by Katie Ryan
A
joy to be around, Alexander is a friendly and engaging
child who is a favorite among the staff at his residential
home. He loves playing in water, learning to throw
a basketball towards the net and taking walks with
those close to him. Fifteen years old, Alexander was
born of Cape Verdian descent. He has worked hard to
gain many new skills despite the challenges of autism
and developmental delays. Alexander has increased
his ability to communicate by using pictures and is
able to complete many daily routines independently.
He gets along well with the other children at his
residential home. He would do well as the only or
youngest child of a two-parent family who will understand
his needs and provide him with the routines and structure
he loves. For more information, please visit the Photolisting
