Fourteen year old David is proud to be the manager of his junior high’s basketball team. It affords him the opportunity to watch a game he loves, get to know his peers, and be his charming self. David is Caucasian and legally free for adoption. He has made tremendous gains at school where he has the support of special education services. His reading skills have improved and he has been quite successful at Science and Social Studies. Additionally, David’s ability to communicate has been eased by the use of hearing aids and speech therapy. David needs a family that will encourage all of his progress and continue to advocate on his behalf. He will also need a family to help him maintain his connection to his siblings and birth mother.
