Marquis is an energetic thirteen year old African American boy with diverse interests.  Marquis is a talented athlete and especially enjoys basketball, baseball, and soccer.  It comes as no surprise that his favorite team is the LA Lakers.  During his free time, Marquis can be found playing board games (Chess, Sorry and Uno are his favorites), playing video games, reading and writing, watching TV – when he has time, or just relaxing.  Marquis has an engaging personality and a great sense of humor.  He has developed positive relationships with in his foster home and at school.  Marquis attends public school, where he benefits from an Individualized Educational Plan that provides a structured and supportive environment.  Legally free for adoption, Marquis, longs for a loving and supportive family who will provides him with consistency, positive attention and security.  Marquis is looking for a mom and a dad, or a single parent household that will support him in his relationship with his younger siblings.
