HI! My name is Luis.
“I like playing baseball.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I love all types of animals. Maybe I will become a vet when I get older.

And here’s what others say…
Luis is a kind and caring eleven year old Hispanic boy with lots of energy. His personality shines through when he is feeling comfortable and confident. Polite, considerate and funny, Luis is engaging to his peers and adults alike. Luis has empathy for others and wants to please. In his spare time, Luis enjoys hands-on activities, playing with his Pokeman cards and video games. He also likes spending time outside riding his bicycle and scooter. In school and at home, Luis benefits from routine and structure to address behavioral needs. Reading and math are challenging for Luis, and he hopes to increase these skills. Luis likes being social and having friends, though he has had some difficulty connecting with his peers and sustaining relationships. Luis’ social worker is seeking a patient and nurturing adoptive family that would advocate for Luis’ needs now and into the future. Luis would do well in a two-parent family as an only or youngest child, and he is open to a family with two moms. A single parent with a strong support system would also be considered. Luis would thrive in a home that is proactive in encouraging his interests and helping him stay busy. It will be important to Luis to maintain his relationship with his brother. Legally free for adoption, Luis is looking forward to being part of a supportive family who will be there for him through life’s ups and downs.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would live with a family that loves and cares for me.
