HI! My name is Rafael.
“I’m pretty fun, and funny!”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I like animals, especially dogs.
And
here’s what others say…
Rafael, who prefers to be called Raffi, is a bright, energetic, and fun-loving eleven year old Hispanic boy who shows great concern for others. He has an adventurous spirit and enjoys new things. Raffi describes himself as “outgoing and active” and enjoys playing basketball, soccer, riding his bike, playing with other children, and any other activity that involves the outdoors. He has a great sense of humor, and people often attach to him quickly due to his engaging manner. In addition to having fun outdoors, Raffi also enjoys doing puzzles, playing video and board games, listening to music, using building sets, and watching cartoons and movies. He takes pleasure in assisting around the house and helping to do chores. Raffi is currently in a residential placement where he is working on issues related to his experiences in the past and has proven to be very resilient. Raffi is an engaging child who benefits from one-on-one attention and encouragement from adults. Although he struggles to maintain strong friendships, he does like to interact with other children. Raffi is a well-spoken and intelligent public school fifth grader who is eager to learn and receives good grades. Legally free for adoption, Raffi hopes he can find a permanent home where he will no longer have to worry about who he can depend on and where he will be accepted without the fear of rejection. Raffi wants to be able to be in a
family that he can learn to trust. He would also like to be with a family that would allow him to maintain relationships with his visiting resources and past foster parents, as his connections are strong and important to him. He would benefit most from a dedicated, experienced, and patient two-parent or single parent family with no children or older children.
If I could
