Emaunie is creative, outgoing African American young lady who hopes to be a fashion designer or an artist someday. In addition to listening to music, she loves to watch music videos and instructional drawing shows on television. Often, 13-year-old Emaunie can be found drawing with colored pencils and markers. She also enjoys making her own dolls clothes and bracelets using old remnants of fabric and ribbon. Emaunie is doing well in her current foster home and has an Individualized Educational Plan in school where she is making progress in the sixth grade. At her afterschool program, she does homework and is developing her social skills. An ideal family would be a mom and dad, with possibly one or two other children, who could give Emaunie the one-on-one attention she enjoys. Emaunie is legally free for adoption.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a lifetime of special wishes and be able to stay connected and visit with my siblings on occasion.
