Daniel has a very curious spirit.

Daniel, or Danny, is a shy, quiet 13 year old young man of Caucasian descent who is curious about trying new things once he feels comfortable. K'nex, Legos, and pretty much anything that you can build with are where this budding architect's interests lie. He has a real knack for being able to follow directions when building or putting something together. Danny also likes to explore and learn about his environment, do arts and crafts, and play on the computer. Danny is currently in a foster home where he loves the attention he receives from the family. He especially likes when he can be with the adults in his life one on one.

At times, Danny can struggle with expectations and is learning coping skills for when he gets frustrated. Danny attends a smaller, therapeutic based school where he is improving his peer social skills and receiving the extra academic help he needs. He does need some assistance with organization and school work and benefits from the services that he receives from his Individualized Education Plan. He gets along with his peers and will join in when asked, although he usually prefers independent play. Legally free for adoption, Danny would do well in a two-parent family of any constellation, with or without older children. With the nurturance, structure and love of a permanent family Danny will continue to shine.
