HI!
My name is Samuel. “I like working on cars!”
Let
me tell you more about myself… I’m a good older brother!
And
here’s what others say…
Samuel goes by the nickname Sam, and describes himself as caring and sensitive. He is a thirteen year old boy of Hispanic descent who is legally free for adoption. Sam enjoys being a big brother to his biological siblings and enjoys being helpful around the house. He likes riding bikes, hanging out with friends, and going to the park. He also likes playing video games, fishing, swimming, and even doing chores. Sam likes working on cars, and wants to be a mechanic when he grows up. He is entering his eighth grade year in school this fall, and benefits from an Individualized Education Plan and a specialized school setting for children with emotional and behavioral needs. Since being included in the program, his behavior has improved and he is described as a “social leader” in his classroom.
The ideal family for Sam is a two parent family of any constellation with or without other children. The right family would feel comfortable maintaining birth sibling contact, and be able to provide him with love, emotional support, and understanding he needs to thrive.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I wish for a bike.
