HI! My name is William.

"I’m a smart and funny kid.”

Let me tell you more about myself
I’m a pretty good singer.

And here’s what others say
William is a sensitive, compassionate youngster of African American and Caucasian descent with a smile that can light up a room. He is seeking the love and stability of a permanent family. William can make strong attachments and is especially connected to women in his life. He is good with animals and helps take care of the cat in his foster home. William, 10, is imaginative and creative -   singing and making up his own songs is a favorite activity as is coloring and making sparkly crafts. His projects have included drawings, a gingerbread house and a beaded necklace, and he loves giving them away as gifts. William is also a fan of trains and fancy cars. Outdoors, he likes riding his bicycle and gardening. William is in the third grade, and though he has made progress, he will need continued support around academic, emotional and social delays. He is smart and has the capacity to do well academically and overcome other challenges, especially once he has stability and consistency in his life. William will need a nurturing parent who is able to set firm limits and provide clear expectations, reminders and consequences. William’s social worker is seeking a two-parent family or a strong single mom that will support an open adoption agreement with his birth mother, a relationship that is important to William. If there were other children in the home, older children not close in age to William would be best. Legally free for adoption, William has a lot of love to give to a family who will invest the time and attention to ensuring that he reaches his full potential.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a mom who takes good care of me. I would also like pets in my new home.
