HI!
My name is Destiny. “I want to be a teacher when I grow up.”
Let
me tell you more about myself… I want a family who will love me forever!
And
here’s what others say…
Destiny is a happy, sweet and engaging eleven year old African American girl with an endearing spirit. Presently in fifth grade, Destiny has an Individualized Education Plan for a language based learning disorder. She enjoys school, but can become easily frustrated with her school work when she doesn’t understand it. She likes to do chores around the house like making her bed and washing dishes. She responds well to a “token system” as praise for good behavior. Her favorite activities include playing board games, riding her bike, gymnastics, playing outside and playing pretend “school”. Destiny attends church weekly with her foster mom and enjoys being a part of the church community. Legally free for adoption, Destiny would do best in a structured and nurturing family setting where she is the only or youngest child. Due to the trauma she has experienced, Destiny would do well with a family constellation with at least one mother. She will also need to keep in contact with her older and younger brothers.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who has family game night.
