I have many goals when I get older. I’m thinking of becoming a model, veterinarian or teacher, or maybe all three.

Cassie is an outgoing and social Caucasian teenager who enjoys all types of creative activities. She likes working with her hands, especially on making arts and crafts projects. She also likes to write. Cassie is involved in community activities, including basketball and tae-kwon do. Academically, thirteen year old Cassie is performing at her grade level, and she enjoys school. Cassie has made significant gains while in residential care. She has had a difficult history and is in therapy to work through emotional needs. Cassie can make friends and considers herself popular, but she benefits from the support of adults to resolve conflicts with peers. Cassie is legally free for adoption and would do best in a household with seasoned parents who can help her navigate through adolescence. Her social worker is seeking a single mom or a two-parent adoptive family in which Cassie is the only or youngest child. Cassie has just reestablished contact with her younger brother which should continue after placement.
