“I want to work with animals when I get older.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I work very hard in school!

And here’s what others say…
Tammy is a sweet and caring sixteen year old Caucasian girl. She is also described as outgoing, talkative, easy to engage and very polite.  Her favorite activities are swimming, watching movies, hanging out with friends and dancing.  Academically, Tammy does very well in her special needs classroom where she is in ninth grade and performing approximately three grade levels behind. Diagnosed as mildly mentally retarded, Tammy will continue to need education and guidance around appropriate boundaries and behavior.  In her foster home, she is cooperative, pleasant, chatty and likes a lot of attention.  Legally free for adoption, Tammy ideally should be the only child in her home although a family with older children who are mature would be considered. A two-parent (mom and dad or two moms) family or a single female family would be the recommended family constellation. Tammy is very attached to her younger brother and will need a family who is able to facilitate visits with him.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family who would love and be patient with me, and I would give me lots of attention.

You can help bring me closer to finding "a place to call HOME" by filling out the MARE Information Request Form. They will be glad to help you get more information about me.
