HI! My name is Jerry.

“I’m a friendly kid!"

Let me tell you more about myself…
I like making people laugh.

And here’s what others say…
With his friendly, outgoing disposition and great sense of humor, 15-year-old Jerry draws people in right away. He makes friends easily and gets along well with adults and peers. Of Puerto Rican descent, Jerry speaks primarily English and some Spanish. He is developmentally on target and has no academic delays. He is currently in a foster home and is doing well. His foster mother reports that Jerry adapts easily to new situations, and he likes being helpful around the house. Jerry enjoys hands-on projects and says he wants to become a mechanic when he is older, so he can collect lots of cars. Musically inclined, Jerry has taken drum and guitar lessons. Like most boys his age, he loves video games and wishes for a Playstation. Going fishing is another favorite activity and one that he might like to do in a new family. Jerry's social worker is seeking a single or two-parent family of any constellation that will be understanding of Jerry's needs and provide a lot of structure in the home. Jerry may need continued services to cope with past losses and trauma. Jerry is legally free for adoption and will need to maintain a connection with his birth mother and sibling after placement.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family that shows me lots of love and support. I would love to have a pet cat, dog or even ferret in my new home.

You can help bring me closer to finding "a place to call HOME" by filling out the MARE Information Request Form. They will be glad to help you get more information about me.
