I am in the fifth grade.

Veronica, 11 years old, is a sweet girl of Hispanic descent. She is very shy with new people.  After she gets used to someone however, she is very interactive and possesses the gift for gab. She likes most things that other girls her age like, especially her dolls and playing dress-up. Veronica is diagnosed with mild mental retardation and attends school in a specialized classroom. She enjoys swimming and playing with her Nintendo DS. Her favorite TV show is Sponge Bob, and she was a bumblebee for Halloween.  Veronica is legally free for adoption and would do best in single or two-parent female family, without other children, or with older female children. A family that is open to birth family contact would be ideal.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family who would help me to continue to learn.
