HI! My name is Troy.
I’m always up for a game.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I like learning about horses.

And here’s what others say…
With his big, bright smile, Troy is a caring, outgoing youngster who is eager to please. He loves playing all types of games and activities where he will receive individual attention from an adult. Troy is a thoughtful 13 year old African American boy who expresses concern for others. Though he is small for his age, he is coordinated and athletic. Troy participates in most sports, including basketball and soccer. Currently in the sixth grade, Troy likes school and is capable of doing well. He was a star pupil last year. This year has been more difficult for Troy. He receives special education services for academic delays and behavioral challenges. In the fall, Troy participated in a horse training program. He was initially nervous about this experience, but he loved it in the end. He was one of the few students who learned to trot. Legally free for adoption, Troy needs a patient, nurturing family who can set firm limits when necessary. He would thrive in an energetic single or two-parent home that will encourage his interests and keep him busy.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would find a family who helps me to see my mother.

You can help bring me closer to finding "a place to call HOME" by filling out the MARE Information Request Form. They will be glad to help you get more information about me.
