HI! My name is Tyler.

“I like to spend time playing basketball.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
Reading mystery stories is a top favorite activity.

And here’s what others say…
At thirteen years old, Tyler is a likeable and engaging young man of Caucasian and Hispanic descent who likes to stay active playing outside.  Basketball is his favorite sport. Articulate and polite, Tyler also enjoys playing video games and reading mystery stories. With a desire to help our country, Tyler has expressed interest in joining the Army when he grows up. Tyler has worked hard in his specialized classroom at school to learn how to manage his behaviors. He has used his resilient attitude to learn how to utilize effective coping strategies and he shows a genuine desire to improve. Tyler is meeting with success in these supportive environments. Tyler is earning average grades in school and counts science and reading as his favorite subjects.

Legally free for adoption, Tyler would do best in a two parent home or strong single parent home where he can be active on a consistent basis.  He would do best with no other children, unless they are significantly older than he is.  Tyler needs a family that can support him when he has behavioral issues, particularly around times of transition or stress.  Tyler also wants to have a family who will help him to maintain contact with his birthmother and his older brother. The ideal family would understand that it will take some time for Tyler to build a relationship with his new family. He hopes to find a family that is good to him, gives him his own bedroom and will listen to him. Tyler has worked hard to climb some difficult hills and with the support of an active and nurturing family, he will be able to tackle the mountains ahead.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would like a family to call my own that will help me to maintain contact with my birth family.
