Desmond is a 13 year old African American boy who is legally free for adoption. He loves to play sports, video games and watch ESPN. His favorite football team is the Philadelphia Flyers and baseball team is the Yankees. Keeping up with current events is important to Desmond. He can be quite the conversationalist and debater. In his spare time, Desmond likes to toss around the football and shoot basketball in his backyard. In his foster home, he is very cooperative and helpful. Presently in the eighth grade in middle school, Desmond has an Individualized Education Plan to help him with his academics and emotional needs. Desmond would like to live with a mom and dad family. He would also like to have an older sibling. The ideal family for Desmond would need to help him remain in contact with his older brother and grandmother.
