HI! My name is Owen.
“I love electronic learning games.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I like to watch Elmo, Sponge Bob and Dora the Explorer on TV!

And here’s what others say…

Owen is a 7 year old legally free Caucasian boy with blonde hair and big brown eyes. He is quite engaging and loveable. Despite his lack of verbal communication skills, he uses some sign language and has a system of visual cues and pictures that works quite well in his efforts to communicate.  He loves musical toys and is fascinated with the electronics aids that are used as learning games on his computer and TV.  Diagnosed with Smith Magenis Syndrome, Owen requires constant care and supervision and attends numerous weekly and ongoing medical and therapeutic appointments.   In his third year of pre- kindergarten, Owen is a special student who has an Individualized Education Plan.  There is a post adoption agreement in place which allows Owen’s birth family three visits a year.  The ideal family for Owen would be a two parent family or one with a large support system because of the amount of time needed for his care.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family that would shower me with love and affection.
