HI! My name is Armando.
“I understand both English and Spanish.”

Let me tell you more about myself…
I love to laugh!

And here’s what others say…
Armando is an eleven year old boy of Hispanic descent.  Medically involved, Armando was born with Cerebral Palsy, is non-verbal, wheel chair bound and also has a diagnosis of hydrocephalic shunt.  Aside from his medical needs, Armando loves to laugh and interact with children and adults alike.  His favorite game is “patty cake” and he loves music, singing and being hugged. Armando’s strength is his determination to be independent.  In his present school, he receives occupational therapy and has an Individualized Educational Plan. Legally free for adoption, Armando needs a very special family that will give him love and attention and is experienced in caring for his extreme medical needs.  The ideal home will also need to be handicap accessible.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would have a family who would love and be patient with me.

You can help bring me closer to finding "a place to call HOME" by filling out the MARE Information Request Form. They will be glad to help you get more information about me.

MARE is partially funded by the Massachusetts Department of Social Services.
