HI!
My name is Autumn.
“I love animals and riding horses.”
Let
me tell you more about myself…
I like buying small things for myself and sharing with others.
And
here’s what others say…
Autumn, 9, is a bright, sensitive and thoughtful young lady of Caucasian descent who has a strong sense of fairness. At first, she can be guarded when getting to know someone new, but she opens up once she feels comfortable and secure. Autumn is well-liked and gets along well with both peers and adults, including her teachers. Currently, Autumn lives in a foster home where she has a good support network and is doing well overall. Autumn loves animals and is excelling in an equestrian program. She also enjoys drawing, puzzles, reading, rollerblading and swimming. In the summer, she loves going to camp and doing some of her favorite activities. In school, Autumn completes her assignments and is doing age-appropriate work. She sometimes has a hard time focusing due to issues related to her past. With the help of counseling, she is learning better coping skills and regulating her behavior. Autumn will need continued positive support to work towards her full potential. She responds to calm, nurturing parenting with clear, firm limits and expectations. Legally free for adoption, Autumn would do best with a slow transition into a new home. She is adaptable and will build trust with a new family at her own pace. She would do best with a strong, patient single mom with supports, two moms or a mom and dad. If there were other children in the home, older children would be best. After placement, Autumn will need to maintain contact with her sisters, an aunt and uncle, as well two visits a year with her birth mother.
If I could
have my own special wish…
I would have a family who loves me just the way I am. I would love to have pets.
