Tony is a legally free 14 year old Caucasian teenager with a somewhat serious personality. When comfortable, though, Tony can joke around and be funny. He is described as an introvert who prefers to play by himself. He presents as much younger than his chronological age. Being adventurous and having a good sense of imagination, Tony likes to play swords with his small action figures and uses his creativity to build things. He would someday like to take karate lessons. When he’s older, Tony says that he would like to be a “mad scientist” or an inventor. Presently in the eighth grade, Tony has an Individualized Education Plan and performs best with praise and positive reinforcement. Legally free for adoption, Tony expresses that he would like his new family to have a mom and a dad but remains open to the possibility of a one parent family. The ideal family for Tony would need to be loving, patient, have a good sense of humor, and would allow Tony to flourish and feel good about himself. Tony would like to maintain contact with family members from previous placements.
