Joseph, who prefers to be called Joey, is a sixteen year old Caucasian boy who enjoy being outdoors, taking swings at the batting cages, and playing basketball. His favorite team is the Orlando Magic! Although he can be quiet at times, Joey says he enjoys the company of his friends and is very talkative around them. Joey also says that while he does not liked to be asked a whole lot of questions, he does enjoy having conversations at the dinner table, on the porch, or in the car.

Joey is considered to be responsible and trustworthy by the adults in his life. He takes pride in earning privileges, doesn’t mind doing chores, and has helped with community clean-ups in the past. He also likes helping around the yard and other hands-on activities. Recently, Joey took his first job as a scorekeeper for a basketball league, and has saved most of his money. He spends his hard earned money on clothes and matching sneakers.

Although not yet legally freed for adoption, Joey is looking forward to finding a family of almost any constellation (except single females), and would welcome a child who is his age or older. He would love to have someone to play basketball with, and is open to a family with pets, but does not like birds. He also needs to have twice yearly visits with members of his birth family.
