HI! My name is David.
I like to swim!

Let me tell you more about myself…
I’m a fan of superheroes.

And here’s what others say…
David is a kind, caring and thoughtful 10- year old boy of Caucasian and Hispanic descent. Engaging and energetic, David enjoys being outdoors and especially loves to hike, swim, and ride his bicycle. He plays well in a group and enjoys a simple game of catch or kick ball, but also likes to participate on a basketball team. With adults, he likes receiving one-on-one attention. David has a good sense of humor, and likes reading comic books. He is currently working at a third grade level and shows strength in math, but has some difficulty demonstrating how much he knows. David has an Individualized Education Plan to assist him in this area.

David is living in a group home setting where he has formed positive relationships with his peers and the staff. Although he can demonstrate oppositional behaviors, David can also be insightful and express his feelings. According to his worker, he would continue to thrive in a home with two experienced parents who can provide him with both structure and nurturing. He should be the youngest or only child in the home. Legally free for adoption, David would do well with a family who can support continued visits with his birth family and encourage his growth through therapy.

If I could have my own special wish…
I would find a safe and loving home.
